Hotels and Resorts in Australia
IBISWorld, Nov 2011, Pages: 34
The IBISWorld Hotel Accommodation in Australia report is an in depth study containing statistics, trends, forecasts and competitor information. This report deals with hotels, resorts and serviced apartments. Hotels and resorts are establishments which are licensed to operate a public bar and which provide accommodation on a room/suite basis, with a bath/shower and other facilities in most guest rooms, but which do not have full cooking facilities (i.e. hot plates and oven/microwave) in most guest rooms. Serviced apartments are establishments which mostly comprise self-contained units at the same location and which are available on a unit/apartment basis to the general public for a minimum of one night. The units all have full cooking facilities (i.e. hot plates and oven/microwave), refrigerator and a bath/shower and other facilities, all bed linen and towels are supplied and daily servicing (cleaning and bed making) is available through the on-site management, but these services may not necessarily be used.
