Abstract NEW YORK (Standard & Poor's CreditWire) June 15, 2001--Standard & Poor's today assigned its triple-'Am' rating--the highest rating assigned to money market funds--to the Brinson Select Money Market Fund. Standard & Poor's analyzed the fund's credit quality, market price exposure, and management. The rating is based on the fund's excellent safety of invested principal and superior capacity to maintain a $1.00 per share net asset value at all times. The portfolio will be monitored on a weekly basis. The Brinson Select Money Market Fund commenced operations in August 1998 and is an open-end, registered investment company.
