Abstract NEW YORK (Standard & Poor's) July 16, 2008--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services has raised its issuer credit rating (ICR) on Beaumont Independent School District, Texas, to 'AA-' from 'A+'. At the same time, Standard & Poor's assigned its 'AAA' enhanced rating and 'AA-' ICR to Beaumont Independent School District's 'series 2008 unlimited-tax school building and refunding bonds. The outlook is stable. Standard & Poor's also affirmed its 'AAA' enhanced rating on the district's GO debt outstanding.
