This report presents Taiwanese WiMAX CPE shipment volume and value forecast and recent quarter review of shipment volume, value, ASP, shipment ranking, and product mix. The report also provides price trends, production locations, shipment destinations, business types by ODM/OEM/OBM, and customer portfolios. The content of this report is based on primary data obtained through interviews with WiMAX CPE makers. This report finds that Taiwanese WiMAX CPE shipment volume scored new high in full-year 2010 due to strong shipments of WiMAX Smartphones in 2010. North America outranked the Asia Pacific region and became the largest shipment destination for Taiwanese WiMAX CPE manufacturers in 2010. Since the WiMAX deployment projects launched by major WiMAX carriers have been suspended, it is projected that WiMAX CPE shipment volume will remain at roughly the same level in 2011 as in 2010. However, owing to the popularity and high price tags of WiMAX Smartphones, the Taiwanese WiMAX CPE shipment value is forecasted to see further growth in 2011.
