Abstract
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'SP-1+' short-term rating to the Los Angeles County Schools Pooled Financing Program, Calif.'s $57.1 million 2010-11 pooled tax and revenue anticipation notes (TRANs) participation certificates, series F-1. The TRANs certificates represent proportionate and undivided interests in the notes and in debt service payments to be made thereon by 10 school districts in Los Angeles County. We understand that the participants will use the note proceeds to address cash flow needs. Under the program, the participants issue notes to the Los Angeles County Office of Education, which in turn issues the TRANs certificates.
