Abstract
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'AA-' long-term rating to the Illinois Finance Authority's (IFA) $90 million series 2011C bonds issued on behalf of the University of Chicago Medical Center (UCMC). Standard & Poor's also affirmed its 'AA-' long-term rating and underlying rating (SPUR) on IFA's series 2001, 2003, 2009A, 2009B, 2009C, 2009D, and 2009E bonds. The outlook on all ratings is stable. In addition, Standard & Poor's affirmed its 'AAA/A-1+' rating on IFA's variable-rate demand revenue refunding bonds, series 2009E-1 and 2009E-2, and its 'AAA/A-1' rating on the authority's series 2009D-1 and 2009D-2 bonds.
