ASG Completes Service Mgt Offering - Acquires Long-Term Partner PS'Soft

Allen Systems Group (ASG) announced its acquisition of PS'Soft SAS, Inc. (PS'Soft) in March 2011. The transaction is expected to close by March 31, 2011 -- terms of the agreement have not been disclosed. PS'Soft and ASG have been partners for more than a decade with ASG reselling both asset and service desk solutions and serving as PS'Soft's exclusive North American distributor. This acquisition enables ASG to complete its broad-scale Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) offering and will change ASG's positioning in the ITSM competitive landscape. The acquisition will also provide a point-of-entry into the IT Financial Management (ITFM) market space with PS'Soft's chargeback and billing solutions.
