Abstract
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'SP-1+' short-term rating to the University of Cincinnati (UC), Ohio's $23.9 million general receipts bond anticipation notes (BANs), series 2010A. The short-term rating on the 2010A BANs -- as well as that on UC's outstanding university BANs -- is based on the university's long history of market access and overall university credit quality. Standard & Poor's also affirmed its ratings and underlying ratings (SPURs) on the university's various outstanding bonds, BANs, and certificates of participation (COPs). The outlook on the long-term debt ratings and SPURs is stable; the outlook on short-term BAN ratings is not meaningful.
