Abstract
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'A+' long-term rating to the University of Cincinnati (UC), Ohio's $98.24 million general receipts bonds, series 2010B and 2010C, and its 'SP-1+' short-term rating to the university's $30.1 million series 2010D and 2010E general receipts bond anticipation notes (BANs). The 'SP-1+' short-term rating on the 2010D and 2010E BANs -- as well as that on UC's outstanding BANs -- is based on the university's long history of market access and overall credit quality. Standard & Poor's also affirmed its ratings and underlying ratings (SPURs) on the university's various outstanding bonds, BANs, and certificates of participation (COPs).
