TOKYO (Standard & Poor's) Nov. 19, 2008--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services today assigned its preliminary ratings to Big Sky 2008-1's ¥30 billion class S1 to S3 bonds and ¥3.16 billion Seller Trust Certificates and Subordinated Trust Certificates Class 1 (see list below). The bonds, due January 2046, and the Seller Trust Certificates and Subordinated Trust Certificates Class 1, due November 2045, are backed by a pool of housing loan receivables originated by Shinsei Bank Ltd. (BBB+/Stable/A-2). The preliminary ratings are based on information as of Nov. 19, 2008. Subsequent information may result in the assignment of final ratings that differ from the preliminary ratings.
