Argentinean Entities Ratings Affirmed After Sovereign Affirmation, Removed From CreditWatch

Abstract NEW YORK (Standard & Poor's CreditWire) June 7, 2001--Standard & Poor's today affirmed the ratings on most Argentinean public and private sector entities and removed them from CreditWatch negative. The ratings had been placed on CreditWatch March 19, 2001, after a similar action was taken on the sovereign ratings of the Republic of Argentina. The outlook on these entities is now negative, reflecting the outlook on the Republic of Argentina (see list below).
