Buenos Aires (City of) $500 Million Senior Unsecured Notes Issue Rated 'B-'

Abstract BUENOS AIRES (Standard & Poor's) March 29, 2010--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said today that it assigned its 'B-' rating to the up to $500 million in senior unsecured notes issued by the City of Buenos Aires (B-/Stable/--). The amortizing notes come due in 2015 and, pursuant to the City of Buenos Aires' medium-term note program (series 8), are to be denominated in U.S. dollars. The proceeds are to be used to fully or partially fund the expansion of the city's subway system and to make a variety of other infrastructure investments.
