Bulletin: No Rating Actions On Eight Latin American LRGs Following The Release Of Updated Criteria

Abstract MEXICO CITY (Standard & Poor's) Sept. 27, 2010--On Sept. 20, 2010, Standard & Poor's Ratings Services published its enhanced methodology for rating non-U.S. local and regional governments. The updated criteria, titled 'Methodology For Rating International Local And Regional Governments,' did not have any impact on the global-scale ratings on LRGs in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico. Standard & Poor's rates eight LRG's in Latin America on a global scale. In Argentina, we rate Province of Buenos Aires (B/Stable/--), City of Buenos Aires (B/Stable/--), Province of Cordoba (B/Stable/--), and Province of Mendoza (B/Stable/--).
