Bonita Unified School District, CA's GO Bond Rating, SPUR Raised To 'AA-'; COPs Rating, SPUR Raised To 'A+'

Abstract SAN FRANCISCO (Standard & Poor's) Aug. 26, 2009--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services raised its rating and underlying rating (SPUR) to 'AA-' from 'A+' on Bonita Unified School District, Calif.'s series A and B (election of 2008) general obligation (GO) bonds. At the same time, Standard & Poor's raised its rating and SPUR on the district's outstanding certificates of participation (COPs) to 'A+' from 'A'. Finally, Standard & Poor's assigned its 'AA-' rating to the district's GO bonds. The outlook on all ratings is stable.
