Abstract
On May 4, 2011, Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'B+' long-term corporate credit rating to China-based LDK Solar Co., Ltd. (LDK). The outlook is positive. At the same time, we assigned our 'B' issue rating to the company's proposed issue of senior unsecured notes. The ratings are subject to Standard & Poor's review of final documentation for the bond issuance. We also assigned a long-term 'cnBB' Greater China credit scale rating to LDK and a 'cnBB-' Greater China credit scale rating to its proposed senior unsecured bonds.
