BOSTON (Standard & Poor's) Sept. 28, 2006--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services revised its rating outlook on New Jersey Educational Facilities Authority 's debt, issued for Rowan University, to stable from negative. The stable outlook reflects the university's improved state appropriation environment in fiscals 2005 and 2006, very strong operating performance in both years, robust enrollment, good investment performance, and improved demand. "We expect that Rowan University will continue to generate good financial operations, retain adequate liquidity, and maintain its current demand," said Standard & Poor's credit analyst Marc Savaria. "However, issuance of substantial additional debt without commensurate growth in liquidity would likely result in a lower rating."
