Abstract
We are assigning our 'A' long-term corporate credit rating and 'A-1' short-term rating to E.ON U.K. subsidiary Central Networks West PLC (CNW). E.ON AG (E.ON) has announced that it is reviewing its strategic options for CNW, which could lead to a reassessment of our view of CNW's current core status within E.ON U.K. We are placing the ratings on CreditWatch with negative implications. We aim to review the CreditWatch placement when we have more information about CNW's ownership structure.
