DALLAS (Standard & Poor's) March 1, 2010--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'AA' issuer credit rating (ICR) and 'AAA' long-term enhanced rating to Conroe Independent School District, Texas' series 2010 unlimited-tax school building bonds. At the same time, Standard & Poor's affirmed its 'AA' ICR and Standard & Poor's underlying rating (SPUR) on the district's outstanding general obligation (GO) bonds, as well as its 'AAA' enhanced rating on the existing parity debt. The outlook on all ratings is stable. "The ICR reflects the district's strong wealth and very strong income levels, combined with a very strong financial position," said Standard & Poor's credit analyst Jennifer Garza.
