Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'AAA' enhanced rating and 'A' issuer credit rating (ICR), and stable outlook, to Conroe Independent School District, Texas' series 2005C unlimited-tax school building bonds. Standard & Poor's also affirmed its 'AAA' enhanced rating and 'A' ICR and Standard & Poor's underlying rating (SPUR), and stable outlook, on the district's GO debt. The permanent school fund enhanced rating reflects the district's eligibility for, and participation in, the Texas Permanent School Fund bond guarantee program, which provides the security of a permanent fund of assets that can be used to meet the debt service on bonds guaranteed by the program.
