Abstract
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services has assigned its issue-level and recovery ratings to competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC) Integra Telecom Inc.'s (Integra) proposed $260 million of senior notes due 2016. The company intends to use proceeds from the unsecured notes to repay its existing senior secured term loan and to pay related fees and expenses. At the same time, we raised the rating on the company's existing senior secured notes due 2016 to 'B' from 'CCC+'. The revised issue rating on the secured notes is a result of both our raising the company's corporate credit rating to 'B/Stable/--' from 'B-/Positive/--', along with a revision in the recovery rating on this debt to '4' from '5'.
