Abstract The strong start to February continued in the domestic corporate bond market last week, with four deals adding A$3.0 billion to issuance for the month, taking the total to more than A$5.0 billion. Boral, Qantas The Griffin Coal Mining Company Pty Ltd. BHP Billiton Ltd. In Standard & Poor's view, this landmark decision is a negative development for Australia's financial and capital markets. The strong start to February continued in the domestic corporate bond market last week, with four deals adding A$3.0 billion to issuance for the month, taking the total to more than A$5.0 billion. This puts the market well on target to meet and exceed the February 2006 issuance total of A$7.5 billion, after less than two weeks....
