Abstract
OVERVIEW We reviewed 348 U.S. RMBS transactions issued between 2001 and 2008. We lowered our ratings to 'D (sf)' on 585 classes from these transactions. The downgrades reflect our assessment of principal write-downs that the classes have incurred during recent remittance periods. NEW YORK (Standard & Poor's) May 19, 2011--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services today lowered its ratings to 'D (sf)' on 585 classes of mortgage pass-through certificates from 348 U.S. residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS) transactions issued between 2001 and 2008.
