Profitability Of European Airport Operators Is Rising, Despite Diverging Performances, Says Report May 11

Abstract LONDON (Standard & Poor's) May 20, 2011--The profitability and credit quality among rated European airport operators have continued to improve in 2011, according to a report published by Standard & Poor's Ratings Services titled ' Profitability Among European Airport Operators Improves In 2011, But Not All Are Benefiting From Rising Demand.' The majority of our rated European airports are performing in line with, or better than, our 2011 traffic forecast of between negative 1% and positive 3%. That said, airport location continues to affect traffic growth, and we believe that the differentiation in performance between capital city airports and more regional airports witnessed in 2010 will continue in 2011.
