Abstract
CHICAGO (Standard & Poor's) May 23, 2011--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said it assigned its 'AA' long-term rating and stable outlook to Milwaukee, Wis.' series 2011 N3 general obligation (GO) promissory notes, series 2011 B4 GO corporate purpose bonds, and series 2011 T5 taxable GO corporate purpose bonds. The city's unlimited-tax GO pledge secures payment of debt service on the bonds. At the same time, Standard & Poor's affirmed its 'AA' rating, with a stable outlook, on the city's GO debt outstanding. Standard & Poor's also assigned its 'SP-1+' short-term rating to city's series 2011 R2 GO cash flow promissory notes, maturing Dec. 1, 2011.
