Standard & Poor's Ratings Services expects Banco Continental will maintain its strong competitive position in the Peruvian financial system, sustaining its high profitability, liquidity, and healthy asset quality in spite of the high competitive pressures. We are affirming our 'BBB-' ratings on the bank. The ratings outlook is positive. On Dec. 17, 2010, Standard & Poor's Ratings Services affirmed its 'BBB-' ratings on Banco Continental S.A. The ratings outlook stands at positive.
