Abstract
NEW YORK (Standard & Poor's) June 8, 2011--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services revised the outlook on its 'A+' long-term rating and underlying rating (SPUR) on Iberia Parishwide School District, La.'s general obligation (GO) debt to positive from stable based on Standard & Poor's assessment of the district's revised fiscal 2011 projections that are better than originally projected. The revised projections indicate, what Standard & Poor's considers, a sizable surplus; the stabilizing of student enrollment signs, which drive state funding; and the improving of economic conditions. Standard & Poor's also assigned its 'A+' long-term rating and positive outlook to the district's $7.12 million series 2011 GO school refunding bonds and affirmed its 'A+' long-term rating and SPUR on the district's existing...
