Abstract
NEW YORK (Standard & Poor's) Dec. 10, 2009--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services has assigned its 'A-' long-term rating to Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority (MSCAA or the authority), Tenn.'s $150 million series 2010A airport revenue refunding bonds and $24 million series 2010B airport revenue bonds. It is issuing both bonds for Memphis International Airport (MEM or the airport). At the same time, Standard & Poor's affirmed its 'A-' underlying rating on the authority's par debt outstanding. The outlook is stable. MSCAA owns and operates the airport as well as the Charles W. Baker Airport and the General DeWitt Spain Airport, both general aviation reliever sites.
