Standard & Poor's Ratings Services affirmed its 'A+' rating, with a stable outlook, on Trenton, Mich.'s and Trenton Building Authority, Mich.'s general obligation (GO) debt. Standard & Poor's also affirmed its 'A+' rating, with a stable outlook, on Grosse Ile-Trenton Utility Authority, Mich.'s limited-tax GO water supply system bonds since debt service on the bonds is a joint obligation of Grosse Ile Township (AA/Stable GO debt rating) and Trenton. The rating reflects the fact that Trenton is the lower rated of the two obligors. The ratings also reflect our view of the city's: Participation in the diverse Detroit metropolitan area; Strong wealth and good income indicators; Stable overall financial position, supported by, what we consider, very strong reserves and revenue-raising...
