Abstract NEW YORK (Standard & Poor's) Oct. 5, 2007--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services has raised its ratings on Branchburg Township, N.J.'s GO bonds to 'AA+' from 'AA', reflecting the township's management of steady economic growth. The outlook is stable. At the same time, the rating service assigned its 'AA+' rating to the township's $6.84 million 2007 GO bonds. Specifically, the rating reflects the township's above-average wealth levels and property values; maturing local economy with access to and participation in the deep and diverse employment opportunities within the New York City MSA; continued strong financial position supported by consistently high fund balance levels; and manageable debt burden supported by management's conservative debt practices.
