NEW YORK (Standard & Poor's) Oct. 22, 2010--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'AA' long-term rating, and stable outlook, to Santa Clara Unified School District, Calif.'s series 2010 general obligation (GO) refunding bonds. Standard & Poor's also affirmed its 'AA' rating and underlying rating (SPUR) on the district's GO bonds outstanding and its 'AA-' rating and SPUR on the district's certificates of participation (COPs) outstanding. The outlook on the affirmed ratings is stable.
