Atlanta Independent School System, GA's Series 2011A-B Certificates Rated 'AA-' On Strong Financial Performance Jun 11

Abstract NEW YORK (Standard & Poor's) June 1, 2011--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said today it has assigned its 'AA-' rating to Education Reform Success Inc., Ga.'s series 2011A qualified school construction and 2011B certificates of participation (COPs), issued on behalf of Atlanta Independent School System. 'The rating reflects our view of a lease structure that includes the system's covenant to budget and appropriate lease payments annually, as well as our assessment of the system's general credit characteristics,' said Standard & Poor's credit analyst Le T.
