Bulletin: AER's Final Decision On Victorian Electricity Distribution Companies Is Supportive Of Company Creditworthiness Nov 10

Abstract MELBOURNE (Standard & Poor's) Nov. 1, 2010--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services today said that the Australian Energy Regulator's (AER) final decision covering the period January 2011 to December 2015 for the five Victorian electricity distribution network providers (DNSPs) is consistent with our view of a supportive regulatory system that is on the whole predictable, transparent, and fair. In our view, the overall decision supports the providers' cash flow stability, by determining a price path that will see price changes, from the January 2011 commencement, ranging from a small cut for Citipower (A-/Watch Neg/--) to small increases for the other DNSPs.
