Alcatel Lucent Outlook Revised To Stable On Adverse Trading Update; 'BB-/B' Ratings Affirmed Sep 07

Abstract
MADRID (Standard & Poor's) Sept. 13, 2007--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said today it revised its outlook on international equipment supplier Alcatel Lucent and related entity Lucent Technologies Inc. to stable from positive. At the same time, the 'BB-' long-term corporate credit ratings on the group were affirmed. The 'B' short-term corporate credit rating on Alcatel Lucent and 'B-1' short-term rating on Lucent Technologies were also affirmed. The outlook revision follows the group's communication of an adverse update on its business activities and prospects.
