Abstract
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services has assigned its 'AAA' long-term rating to the town of Huntington, N.Y.'s series 2009 refunding bonds and affirmed its 'AAA' long-term rating on the town's series 2008A public improvement bonds, reflecting our opinion that the town has: A diverse and continually expanding local employment base; Consistently maintained a strong and stable financial position highlighted by healthy unreserved fund balance levels and consistently good operating results; and Moderate to low debt with limited future capital needs. The full faith and credit pledge of the town secures the series 2009 bonds.
