Abstract
Russia-based B&N Bank's asset quality is improving and customer deposits continue to increase. The bank's owner increased capital by $50 million in the second quarter of 2011 and plans another $50 million increase in 2012. We are revising our outlook on B&N Bank to positive from stable, raising the national scale rating to 'ruBBB+' from 'ruBBB-', and affirming the 'B-/C' long- and short-term ratings on B&N. The positive outlook reflects the improving operating environment in Russia and our expectations that bank's financial profile will moderately improve over the next two years.
