'A-1' Rating Withdrawn on FIDEX PLC's Credit Arbitrage Loan-Backed CP Mar 02

Abstract LONDON (Standard & Poor's) March 12, 2002--Standard & Poor's said today that it withdrew its 'A-1' rating on the up to $5 billion CP issued by FIDEX PLC, a credit arbitrage loan-backed CP program sponsored by BNP Paribas (AA-/Stable/A-1+). The rating action follows the March 4, 2002 paydown in full of all outstanding asset-backed CP and has been done at the request of BNP Paribas.
