Abstract
NEW YORK (Standard & Poor's) July 31, 2009--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services today raised its rating on Montgomery County Industrial Development Authority's $34 million pollution control revenue refunding bonds series 1996A and removed the rating from CreditWatch with positive implications, where it was placed April 22, 2009 (see list). The rating actions reflect our assessment that the bonds are eligible for the application of our revised joint-support criteria (see " Joint-Support Criteria Update," published April 22, 2009, on RatingsDirect). Therefore, our rating on the bonds is based on the joint credit support provided by Exelon Generation Co. LLC ('BBB/A-2') and BNP Paribas ('AA/A-1+'), which provide for the full and timely payment of interest, principal, and the purchase price upon a...
