Standard & Poor's Ratings Services has assigned its 'AA' long-term rating and stable outlook to Fishers Redevelopment Authority, Ind.'s lease rental revenue bonds of 2011 and affirmed its 'AA' long-term rating and underlying rating (SPUR) on Fishers' existing general obligation (GO) and GO equivalent bonds, reflecting our view of the town's: Participation in the diverse Indianapolis metropolitan area economy, which continues to contribute toward tax base and population growth; Healthy and diverse local economy, coupled with low unemployment; Very strong income and extremely strong wealth levels; and Good financial management practices that support a very strong financial position.
