BNP Paribas' Matchpoint ABCP Conduit Launched Dec 04

Abstract
LONDON (Standard & Poor's) Dec. 17, 2004--Matchpoint Finance PLC, an ABCP conduit sponsored by BNP Paribas, has closed its first issuance of series A CP, according to a report from Standard & Poor's Ratings Services today. Standard & Poor's had previously assigned its 'A-1' credit rating to the up to -6 billion series A CP following a program review completed on Oct. 29, 2004. Matchpoint Finance is the third ABCP conduit sponsored by BNP Paribas in Europe. It has the potential to issue both in Europe and in the U.S. market, through a co-issuing structure with Matchpoint Master Trust, a statutory trust established in Delaware.
