Abstract
We are revising our outlook on the Province of New Brunswick and New Brunswick (F-M) Project Co. Inc. to negative from stable. We are also affirming our ratings, including our 'AA-' long-term issuer credit rating, on the province and project company. The outlook revision reflects our view of deteriorating budgetary performances and a rising debt burden. The ratings reflect what we consider to be the province's historically strong record in managing its finances, stable debt burden, and ample liquidity. On Oct. 7, 2010, Standard & Poor's Ratings Services revised its outlook on the Province of New Brunswick and New Brunswick (F-M) Project Co. Inc. to negative from stable.
