On April 26, 2005, Standard & Poor's Ratings Services affirmed its 'BBB-' counterparty credit and related ratings (see ratings list) on Great American Financial Resources Inc. (GAFRI). At the same time, Standard & Poor's affirmed its 'A-' counterparty credit and financial strength ratings on Great American Life Insurance Co. (OH) (GALIC) and Annuity Investors Life Insurance Co. (AILIC; collectively Great American Life Insurance Group or GALIG.) The outlook is stable.
