About the author:
Professor D. Rhidian Thomas is Professor of Maritime Law and Director of the Institute of International Shipping and Trade Law at the School of Law, University of Swansea, Wales, U.K. His principal research interests are in the fields of maritime law, marine insurance law, international trade law and international commercial arbitration law. He previously has held positions at various universities in the UK and has lectured internationally. He is an existing Informa author.
