Abstract
U.S. technology services provider Computer Sciences Corp.'s (CSC) adjusted debt to EBITDA has been somewhat high for the rating for a sustained period. Adjusted EBITDA levels have declined on a year-over-year basis in each of the last two quarters, in part reflecting weakness in CSC's North American public sector. CSC currently has limited leverage headroom for potential operating performance degradation or to pursue strategic growth opportunities. We are placing our 'A-' corporate credit rating on CSC on CreditWatch with negative implications. Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said today that it placed all of its long-term ratings, including the 'A-' corporate credit rating, on Falls Church, Va.-based Computer Sciences Corp. on CreditWatch with negative implications.
