Abstract NEW YORK (Standard & Poor's) Dec. 17, 2001--Standard & Poor's affirmed its 'A-1' rating on the commercial paper notes of Black Forest Funding Corp. (Black Forest). The rating action follows Black Forest's loan of $73,529,411.76, which will be used to make franchise loans. The rating on Black Forest's commercial paper program is based on liquidity and credit support from the providers with short-term ratings commensurate with the 'A-1' rating on Black Forest and structural provisions that offset interest rate risk. Black Forest is a multiseller, partially enhanced asset-backed commercial paper conduit administrated by Bayerische Hypo- und Vereinsbank AG (single-'A'-plus/Negative/'A-1')....
