Black Forest Funding Corp.'s Commercial Paper Rating Affirmed Mar 01

Abstract NEW YORK (Standard & Poor's CreditWire) March 7, 2001--Standard & Poor's affirmed its 'A-1' rating on the commercial paper notes of Black Forest Funding Corp. (Black Forest). The rating action follows Black Forest's execution of a loan and security agreement pursuant to which the conduit will fund up to $100 million to a special-purpose entity for the purchase of a pool of trade receivables from a provider of bunker fuels. The rating on Black Forest's commercial paper program is based on liquidity support from liquidity providers with short-term ratings commensurate with Black Forest's 'A-1' rating and sufficient pool-specific credit enhancement.
