Abstract Standard & Poor's Ratings Services will be stress testing the credit profiles of rated banks in Asia-Pacific based on assumptions made and applied in accordance with the methodology for stress testing outlined in 'Credit Stress Testing For Financial Institutions,' published on April 29, 2009, on RatingsDirect at www.ratingsdirect.com and Standard & Poor's Web site at www.standardandpoors.com. This article helps market participants better understand our approach to reviewing stress testing and scenario analysis for Asia-Pacific banks.
