Abstract
In Standard & Poor's Ratings Services' opinion, the 'AA' long-term rating assigned to the city of Green, Ohio's various purpose improvement general obligation (GO) tax increment bonds series 2010 reflects the city's: Access to the diverse Akron and Canton, Ohio economies; Very strong wealth level and strong income level; Very strong financial position; and Moderate overall debt burden. In our opinion, the 'SP-1+' short-term rating assigned to the city's various purpose GO bond anticipation notes (BANs) series 2010A and street improvement GO tax increment BANs series 2010B due July 7, 2011, reflects the city's Investment-grade credit quality as evidenced by the 'AA' long-term rating, and History of market access.
