Abstract
The 'AA' long-term rating assigned to the city of Green, Ohio's global gateway drive general obligation (GO) recovery zone economic development bonds series 2010 reflects Standard & Poor's Ratings Services' opinion of the city's: Access to the diverse Akron and Canton, Ohio economies; Very strong wealth level and strong income level; Very strong financial position; and Moderate overall debt burden. The 'SP-1+' short-term rating assigned to the city's street improvement GO tax increment bond anticipation notes (BANs) series 2010C due July 7, 2011, reflects our opinion of the city's: Investment-grade credit quality as evidenced by the 'AA' long-term rating, and History of market access.
