Abstract
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'AAA' long-term rating and stable outlook to New York City Transitional Finance Authority's (TFA) future tax-secured fiscal 2012 series A subordinate bonds. In conjunction with this issuance, Standard & Poor's also affirmed its 'AAA' ratings on TFA's outstanding future tax-secured debt, which include senior bonds, subordinate bonds, and recovery obligation bonds. The outlook on these bonds is stable. We understand that the TFA is planning to convert the interest-rate mode on its fiscal 2003 series B and taxable fiscal 2002 series B bonds and remarket the bonds as fixed-rate bonds on Aug. 23, 2011, the conversion date.
