Abstract Standard & Poor's affirmed the ratings of 10 asset-backed commercial paper multiseller conduits, for the period of July 3 to July 7, 2000 (see table). These rating actions were based on Standard & Poor's review of the transactions before they entered the conduits. Financing limits for these transactions totaled $2.23 billion. The commercial paper that the conduits issued was backed by equipment leases and loans, lease receivables, auto leases, commercial loans, credit card receivables, and trade receivables. Year-to-date, including this week's additions, Standard & Poor's has affirmed ratings based on 72 transactions entering 32 conduits of 26 program administrators.
